This contest for designers to create the best Big Moo ad, where the winner's work will find its way on the MSN homepage, is about the coolest thing I've seen.
If only I knew some good designers who might benefit from having their names and work put out in front of a bajillion people.
Oh, wait. There's my wife Kim. And Jonathan (although he will claim he has abandoned the design world to focus on engineering. Don't believe him. Not for a minute). Not to mention practically every designer I work with currently (David, and Michael, and Surya, and, shoot, I need more of their on-line portfolio addresses).
Maybe I should just send an email out to them all. Heck, it's for charity.
Instead of promoting this contest, you should be warning against it. Contests and spec work devalue the advertising/design profession. A lot of people are going to waste their time with this just to let Seth get some free design work.

I understand where you're coming from, Adrian, but I can't help but refer back to the fact that the winner of this contest gets their work on the MSN homepage, not to mention a plug on Seth's site (which has some nice traffic itself). And then there's there whole charity thing too, which is sure to attract participation as well. I don't think it devalues the profession any more than the programming contests at JAVA conferences do, especially when there's so much potential return for the designer here.
