It was pointed out to me last week that I am not doing a good enough job asking science-related questions. I concede the point and only have a couple of things to say in my defense. Unlike most of the people lodging these complaints the last time I had a formal class in science was a biology class when I was 19 years-old. That's more than 15 years that have elapsed since I learned anything scientific outside of watching the Discovery Channel, learning how to make wine, or reading novels by Neal Stephenson or William Gibson. Also, it seems a bit harder to ask questions about science that aren't super easy or super hard. I really do try to ask questions that I think at least one person should on each team will or should know and some science questions will either be known by everyone or by 3 or 4 people in the room. But those objections/explanations aside I will endeavor to write a fair amount of science questions each week.
Last week, ya'll got served by Team #6 All Your Bag are Purple to Us. It's been a while since they put a whuppin' on the rest of the crowd, but this week they were back to their old form and completed the double whammy of winning round 4 and overall score. They did not, however, pick the lucky yellow 9 token so the jackpot will continue to grow. Here are their categories:
