I almost forgot what it was like to do Pub Quiz in front of a full audience. Much more fun. Observations from last night:
1. As much as a few people bellyache about there not being enough sports questions, almost nobody likes or cares about sports questions.
2. I'm pleased to report that many fewer quiz people attentively listen to KJEE than I thought.
3. Nobody at Pub Quiz follows or cares much about big business. A sign of the economy?
4. There are far fewer current or ex-foodservers in the crowd than I imagined.
5. I'm contemplating putting a 140 character limit on the team names. It damn hard to write long names down and even harder to read them. Brevity is the soul of wit.
6. Is it a coincidence that we had great attendance on a night with no baseball games? I think not (see #1), but still.
7. I'm asking more wine questions. Get used to it.
9. Did I really commit to posting results for all 24 teams?
10. Fire Quiz Tee-Shirts are still in the works and will hopefully be ready before the next major fire.
Oh, yeah. The results were roughly the same as last week with Team #19 Verizon Can Bite My Shiny Purple Ass winning the overall score and round 4, although they were sporting enough not to claim the big jackpot this time. Here are there categories:
- Beer
- Soil
- Devo
- Creepy Crawlers (the toy)
- XTC
- NFL 80's
- Richard Montague
- David Mamet
- Explorers
- The Red Green Show
- Santa Barbara Restaurants
- Desserts (yes, I spelled it right)
- Weeds (TV Show)

Wow, another speedy post.
Regarding your observations, here is my opinion.
1. I care and so does half of my team!
2. Is this a knock against KJEE listeners or just the fact that stations rarely announce title and artist anymore?
7. Already used to it...

Thanks to the Quizmaster and OKR for hosting. It was our team's first time attending--we had a ton of fun and will be back. Cheers!

RE: #4
I am surprised and offended that you would neglect the other end of that chain; the kitchen staff. While the wait staff may need to know the lingo, it does them no good if the people in the kitchen have no idea what they are talking about.
